No individual or insurance co can pay those prices! When will the health care bubble burst? Thanx 800 petmeds!
Health insurance companies have bought and paid for the status quo. Their campaign contributions paid huge amounts towards both parties’ election expenses. It’ll take a miracle.

I don’t think a single payer plan will come to the United States because everyone is so greedy and selfish that nobody wants to pay for it. Big business doesn’t want to pay and taxpayers don’t want to pay. In America it’s survival of the fittest. The best thing this woman can do is live in Egypt where healthcare is free for everyone no matter who you are or where you’re from.
I love how everyone in the states is happy to watch others suffer but as soon as they have a sob story and are not covered any more they cry in outrage.
For a new system to be created there needs to be someone who doesn’t gain personally from it for the other people to take it seriously.
